As part of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), April 2008 signalled the beginning of energy performance certification for buildings classed as non- dwellings; CEAL is a provider of the inspection and certification services for the energy performance rating of all non-dwellings.

CEAL provides the opportunity to train and qualify as an energy assessor for commercial and public buildings. Our training and assessment programmes offer Level 3 + 4 Diplomas in non-domestic energy assessment. We also offer training to qualify as a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) assessor.
We are now pleased to offer NDEA and DEC courses either separately or as a combined course at the sumptious Park Inn Hotel, Thurrock. This will give you the opportunity to operate in both the commercial and public sectors. For further information on the combined course please go to downloads.

In addition during September and October, we are also offering No-Cost hotel accommodation with breakfast and evening meal for the duration of your training course. We want to get you ready for October; ideally you need to start now and we will help you all of the way.
