Are you a Commercial or Public Buildings Operator? We can deliver the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or Display Energy Certificate (DEC) for you; we manage the process from start to finish and we have the technology and protocols in place to deliver a simple and effective process.

We can deliver the EPC on a single unit basis, implementing the energy inspection as the property becomes vacant. Or we can service your entire portfolio for EPC certification, regardless of whether the buildings are occupied or not; as the EPC is valid for 10 years, you will have met your EPBD obligations for some time to come. There is a financial cost benefit in the second option which we can discuss with you; you may also have a view on off-setting the EPC costs against the service charges etc.

April 2008 also saw Govt. abolish tax relief on vacant commercial properties, a decision that may impact adversely on commercial property, property owners and property investment funds. This development has lead to property owners being more favorable to allowing short term lets, including permitting charities to occupy buildings, as well as ensuring that properties are the in their best condition to increase the potential for rental.

CEA Refurbishments Division can offer a cost effective dilapidations service combined with the commercial EPC. We can provide quotation for cosmetic or full office refurbishment. If required, we can carry out a No-Cost EPC pre-inspection and identify cost effective energy efficiency improvements prior to the actual EPC inspection.
